5 Useful Squarespace website plugins to check out
If you’re looking to add custom functionality and beautiful design elements to your Squarespace website, a great way to achieve that is by utilizing a plugin.
But not all plugins are created equal. Most require at least some basic knowledge of CSS, HTML, or Javascript to install them, but lucky for us Squarespace makes it pretty easy to add and modify those codes.
Below you’ll find some favorites that I’ve utilized for my own business’s website and/or for client websites built on the Squarespace platform. If you’ve never used a plugin before, most have free trial periods, so don’t be afraid to try one out today!

Useful plugins for your Squarespace website
If you add custom CSS to your Squarespace websites like I do, this will save you a lot of time. There are so many great presets (100+!) bundled into one plugin - create a vertical header, an animated gradient background, or a highlighted text effect for a headline. I also love how many different ways you can customize buttons. Installation is a breeze.

This handy plugin has proven to be very useful when building websites for some of my clients in the beverage (alcohol) and CBD space that are legally required to show an “age gate” prior to one viewing their website. Require visitors to confirm before entering the website with this clean and simple verification pop up. There are many different variables and ways you can configure it, customizing it to your needs.
